Css tricks has some handy cheatsheets for flexbox and grids. I'm personally a grids kind of gal. It seems intimidating at first but it is actually pretty handy once you learn it. This youtube video helped me understand. Learn CSS Layout is pretty good for other stuff on positioning.
For image compression, I use a combination of ImageOptim, Squoosh, and Ezgif.
HTML character codes are handy to have on hand.
For background images, there's too many to list. I frequent Betty's graphics, Hekate's archive, secret cottage's toy box, and of course glitter-graphics
And here's the Jquery draggable function I use for draggable elements on my page. Doesn't work on mobile tho.
